Our PPA Program

These services are offered absolutely free to our customers!!! We pay for everything, We are paid through

incentives and then we pay our customers power bill!!! We are primarily offering our program in DC, which we have named the Zero PPA. We also offer an alternative for Maryland, the 6 Cent PPA.

Program Offerings

Zero PPA

● Location: Washington DC and surrounding areas under Pepco's power utility grid.

● Eligibility: Homes and commercial properties.

● Benefits: Potentially free power for the next 20 years due to high incentives and

credits in DC.

● Cost: No upfront charges or costs over the 20-year period.

● Additional Information: Both Zero PPA and 6 Cent PPA are available to residential

and commercial properties in DC.

6 Cent PPA

● Location: Washington DC and surrounding areas under Pepco's power utility grid.

Benefits:

● Reduces owner's bill to a low connect fee and 6 cents per kWh.

● Typically saves clients 75% off their rate with the power company.

● Locks in annual rate increase at 3%, compared to the typical 5% increase

by most power companies.

Additional Information: This program is available for both residential and

commercial properties.

System Details

● Type: Solar power system connected to the utility grid. (Owner still pays

connection fee, in DC with Pepco that is $15.50 cents)

● Operation:

● Power produced during the day reduces demand on the grid.

● Utilizes "net metering" where the meter runs backwards during high

production times and forward at night.

● Cost: Absolutely free solar for customers for the next 20 years.

Incentives and Credits

● DC SREC Program: Solar Energy Renewable Credit program, where one SREC is

generated for every megawatt-hour (MWh) of electricity produced. SRECs can be

sold to utilities like PEPCO to comply with renewable portfolio standards.

● Federal ITC Credit: Solar Investment Tax Credit, detailed information available at

www.seia.org.

● Commercial Property Benefits: Accelerated Depreciation (60% of cost of

installation towards tax liability), Federal Tax Program Section 179D,Federal tax

program for Energy Efficiency items. This includes solar and would even include

Potentially HVAC, Windows, LED Lighting, ETC….

● Federal Tax Program Section 179 for roofing.

Additional Services

Maintenance and Warranty:

● Panels and system maintenance.

● Warranty for the duration of the 20-year PPA contract.

● Coverage for any damage caused during installation.

● System Monitored for issues.

Customer Qualification

● Criteria:

● Roof capable of producing around 10 kW.

● Roof in good condition with at least half its life remaining.

● Not a slate roof or other unsuitable material.

● Minimal shading, good sunlight.

● 200 amp fuse box, updated electrical system. If service not updated their

are options where we can pay for or help pay for upgrades which would

then be a 6 Cent PPA

● Moderate income range.

● Landlord- Single Multifamily Units : Tenants can have adjusted leases, and the

owner can become the power provider.

Process

1. Discovery Call: Informational call to determine if the home fits criteria and to

obtain a power bill.

2. Site Survey: Verification of roof condition, electrical system, and sunlight

exposure.

3. Permitting: Typically takes 4-6 weeks.

4. Installation: Order equipment and begin installation after receiving interconnect

permit (2-3 weeks).

5. Monitoring: Online monitoring available, and regular maintenance checks.

6. Total process can take up to 4 months depending on the DC SLOW Permitting

timeframes.

● Selling the Home: Agreement Transfer: Agreement can be passed to new owner with same terms.

● Home Value Increase: Typically adds 15-20% value to the home at no cost to the

owner.

Referral Program

● Customer Referrals:

● Receive a $25 Visa card for each in-house presentation you refer to us

● Your referee also gets $25

● Placing a sign in the yard (Additional $25).

● If your referral Signs and has solar installed you receive additional $100

● Commercial Referrals: Higher referral fees for commercial property contracts.

Special Offers

● Current Solar Customers: Option to purchase ITC credits from existing solar

customers who have not taken advantage of their incentives. If you already have

solar installed from another company we can make an offer to buy your credits.

● If you Purchase solar and cannot use the credits, we can make an offer to

purchase them.
